How the Score Works

A transparent look at what the Growth Readiness Score measures and why

Three Pillars

Every site is evaluated across three dimensions — not just one. Each pillar has a defined weight so the score reflects real-world priorities.

Data + Expert Judgment

Each pillar score blends hard data with AI expert review. Automated signals form the foundation; expert perspective adds context data can't capture alone.

Deterministic signals70%
AI expert review30%

The 70/30 split prevents AI drift — expert scores shape but don't override the data.

Industry-Calibrated

A score isn't one-size-fits-all. Signals are weighted differently based on your detected industry and business type.

E-commerce — Performance & conversion weight higher
Healthcare — Accessibility & security prioritized
Local Business — Mobile & local SEO signals amplified
B2B / SaaS — Trust signals & content depth weighted up

Grade Thresholds

A
90 – 100

Strong digital presence. Modern tech, fast performance, clear conversion paths.

B
80 – 89

Good foundation. Room to optimize in SEO, speed, or conversion strategy.

C
70 – 79

Average across most signals. Common gaps in accessibility, mobile UX, or content.

D
60 – 69

Significant issues across multiple areas. Often missing analytics or outdated tech.

F
0 – 59

Critical gaps — broken pages, no HTTPS, missing meta tags, or inaccessible content.

Grade caps apply: if any single pillar scores below 70, an A grade is not possible — even if the overall average qualifies. This prevents a strong performance score from masking a critical gap elsewhere.
